July Favourites 2016

Well I don't know where July went!? It's like I blinked and it's gone. I ran a poll on my Twitter (@jessicarachelxo) where I asked my followers how they would like me to do my July Favourites. A blog post or film a video? Even though filming a video was the most voted for, my only day off plans had changed, which has resulted in me writing a blog post. I hope you don't mind 🙂.

July Favourites 2016

* Tanya Burr Birthday Suit Eyeshadow Palette

I think I've spoken a lot about this eyeshadow palette recently. It's such a pretty palette that I can't help but use it all the time. I used this palette in a recent YouTube video (HERE) where I did a makeup look using all of Tanya's products new and old. I really like this palette as all the shades are neutral making it fit for everyday use. I'm not a fan of the mirror in the palette as it's a bit small but it does make the palette look cuter with it! There are four eyeshadows in this palette - Marzipan, Toast, Cocoa Sugar and Soft Truffle. Out of all of them I'd probably say Cocoa Sugar is my favourite because it's a glittery gold shimmer colour. I love a glittery gold shimmer eyeshadow!
Tanya Burr's eyeshadow palettes always look so cute as well

* The Body Shop Drops of Sun Honey Bronze

This is literally my holy grail! Whilst watching one of FabulousHannah's makeup videos on YouTube. She used this Drops of Sun Honey Bronzing oil from The Body Shop. She mixed it in with her moisturiser and she instantly looked like she had a nice glow. So I put it on my list of 'what to get' when I next went shopping and even though I nearly forgot about it... I didn't! It is now my new holy grail! I've tried using this product many ways, such as using it with moisturiser, foundation and even on it's own. I love all ways. I'm quite a pale person and people have really been noticing that I look different haha. I look in the mirror and can even tell myself that I look more alive. I will definitely be using this product all year round.

* The Body Shop Pinita Colada Body Butter

English Summer can be a bit disappointing sometimes so to keep the Summer vibe going, I've really been loving the Pinita Colada body butter. The smell is just amazing! It really gives you that Summer feel. The Body Shop is my #1 skin care brand. They've got every product for every skin type and I just feel like their products make your skin feel amazing... and lets not forget smelling nice!
Their Pinita Colada range is my new favourite Summer range 😍

* Too Faced La Creme Lipstick - Juicy Melons

To carry on with the Summer vibes, of course I had to include a summery lipstick to this months favourites. I absolutely adore a coral lipstick during the Summer time! I adore this Too Faced La Creme Lipstick in the shade Juicy Melons as it's the perfect coral colour and applies nicely to my lips. This lipstick happens to be my first Too Faced lipstick product and I'm fairly impressed with it that I want to try them all now.

* Tanya Burr Lip Gloss - Just Peachy

It's always nice to apply a bit of lip gloss to your lips to give it that glossy finish. I've been loving the Tanya Burr lip gloss in Just Peachy. It goes really well with the Too Faced lipstick and other coral/peach lipstick shades or even on it's own.

* The Body Shop Vitamin C Face Spritz

Recently I've been really loving the Vitamin C Face Spritz from The Body Shop. I don't know why, I just feel like it really makes a difference to my skin when I spray this on my face. I just find that it really boosts your appearance making you feel refreshed. Definitely a Summer must have!

And that's all for my July Favourites of 2016! I hope you enjoyed reading them as much as I enjoyed using them this month!

My Beauty Storage

In todays post I decided to show you how I store my beauty products and keep them organised. I love being organised and organising everything and since this is a beauty blog, I thought I'd show you how I store my makeup! I hope you enjoy this post :)

Drawers

One of my top storage places is my drawers. I have a few brands that I go crazy about so a couple of them have their own dedicated drawers. Oops. It makes it easier as I know that they are all together and it's much easier to find my favourite brand. Although one brand is currently overfilling! :(

Jars

I love using jars as a form of storage as it's easier to store the little things. What really annoys me is having small products just wondering lost in a makeup bag. Having jars for those sort of things is an absolute life saver! I have all my lipsticks in a jar as it keeps them together, rather than having them in a draw or makeup bag where they can lose their lids and well we all know that would be disastrous. I also like to keep cotton wool/pads and buds in separate jars as well as it's handy when it comes to using them. It's never nice coming to the last cotton pad and having to dig your fingers inside a 30cm long packet just to reach the last few. JARS SAVE LIVES.

Sectioning

I love makeup sectioning. It's the best part of being organised! Putting all your single eyeshadows together in one section and then putting all your false lashes together in another section. It makes everything look neat and tidy and makes it easier to find what you're looking for. I like to keep brands together rather than putting for instance 'bronzers' together. I prefer it better that way, but I think one day I will try putting the same products together just to see what it's like.

Makeup Holders

I adore makeup holders. I'm a sucker for a good makeup display so having a makeup holder is a must for me. I love seeing all my lipsticks on display. It just makes my dressing table look so pretty that sometimes I just have to sit there and just look at it because it makes me that happy. Don't judge me. You can get makeup holders almost anywhere (I'm still trying to get the drawer type ones) they definitely spice up your dressing table.

Candle holders also make great makeup holders. I like to put all my eyeshadow brushes and applicators into my candle holder. I only recently started doing this and I love it.

And that's all for todays post. I hope you enjoyed reading a bit about how I store my makeup.

July Payday Wishlist

Payday is almost here and seeing as I like doing wishlists on my blog, I thought why not do a payday one! This may become a regular thing. Who know's?

July's Wishlist

* Camera Lights

I decided to up my YouTube game a little. I think using these sort of studio/photography lights will make so much more of a difference to my videos. It will also help filming in the winter when it gets darker earlier. It's all well and good using natural daylight but lets be honest, it's not that great.

* Tanya Burr Lip Gloss'

I've been obsessing over Tanya  Burr's new collection ever since it got released! I'm still trying to get my hands on the products. As you know I have all of her lip gloss' from her previous range. The new ones she has released are all matte colours, so makes a change to her glossy ones. The names are so adorable! 'Puppy Paws' 'Rhubarb and Custard' and of course 'Martha Moo'. Seriously cannot wait to get my hands on them and try them!

* Tanya Burr Eyeshadow Palette

As well as the lip gloss', Tanya also released two new eyeshadow palettes. I have three of her other palettes from her previous range which I used quite a lot. When I saw that she was releasing two new palettes I got so excited. One palette called 'Birthday Suit' has the most beautiful nude shades! When I saw the swatches I instantly fell in love. The other palette called 'Enchanted Dream' is another nude palette, it's just a bit softer than the Birthday Suit one. I can't wait to try these either.

* Makeup Revolution Flawless Matte 2 Eyeshadow Palette

I think I live for Makeup Revolution haha. This new Flawless Matte 2 palette is to die for! I keep looking at it and hesitating whether to get it or not because in all honesty, I have gotten to the point where the 'Makeup Revolution' drawer that I have has become full and won't fit another palette in it. I'm working on expanding my space actually so hopefully it will all work out and I will have room for more makeup!

* Handbag

I don't know what it is about this handbag but it has been catching my eye alot recently and I think this might be my new handbag. I just love the nude colours and it's definitely bigger than the one I'm currently using so it would make things a lot easier.

* Maybelline Super Stay 14hr Lipstick in Lasting Chestnut

I was watching one of BubzBeauty's YouTube videos. Sadly I can't remember which one it is now, but she mentioned this Maybelline lipstick in the shade Lasting Chestnut. It looked so pretty on her lips! It's a really nice coffee colour, which is a different shade for me to use but I'd love to try it out. However I can't seem to find it in any Maybelline stand and it's currently sold out on the Superdrug website so it's just the case of waiting to see when it appears haha. It would be perfect to wear at the end of Summer beginning of Autumn though.

I hope you enjoyed my July payday wishlist. Let me know if you want to see more of them. This was just a quick one I put together.
